The sidhis he displayed were apparently sleight of hand tricks - this accoridng
to many
disciples who worked with him for years. He kept the rings and trinkets hidden
between
the folds of blankets that were piled next to him. The rings were made of
cheap metals
and glass stones by jewers in India who sold them to Sai Baba's people.
Apparently there
are vidoetapes of Sai Baba that show him quickly removing rings and ash etc
from the pile
of blankets and then putting them up his sleeves. Many people attest to
knowing this and
to helping to set it all up. They were so ensconced in the group that they
never said
anything about it for years!! He must have had some mesmerizing presence to
have
pulled all this stuff off for so many years.
