I see much of self discovery as "mind-modeling,"
the students picking up on and sharing the mindset
of the teacher. 

If Rick is correct about the traits he mentions
above, the question would seem to be do we find 
these same traits -- a tendency towards secrecy and
hiding the truth of situations, a tendency to banish
those who rock the boat or question the need for 
secrecy, and the establishment of a heavy-handed 
bureaucracy to enforce the secrecy and maintain the 
illusions -- a great deal among Maharishi's students, 
and in the TM movement itself?
