Martin Luther wasn't the first. The Anti Semitism found in the church was  
started by Constantine around 324 AD and grew from there. This became known  as 
Replacement Theology in which it was taught that the Church replaced the Jews  
as God's chosen people. There is no such thing in the Bible! In fact the Book 
of  Romans says that the Gospel is for the Jew first, then the Gentile. 
Hitler  made use of Martin Luther's and the Catholic Church's attitude to 
justify 
his  program. However, Replacement Theology has finally been replaced and few  
Churches preach such a doctrine. Most preachers today are much more in line 
with  the book of Romans and are placing greater emphasis on embracing the 
Hebraic  roots of the original church.
