I couldn't stomach reading more than a few paragraphs of the anti-Semitic rant of Luther that cardemeister linked to, but in those paragaphs, at least, he wasn't complaining about the Jews having killed Jesus, he was condemning them for refusing (appropriately, in my view) to recognize Jesus as the prophesied Messiah. This is all a part of Replacement Theology which is rejected by most Christians today. It is my understanding that most Christians today teach that the Jews are *blinded* to the Divinity of Christ till the last Gentile is brought into the Kingdom then the *scales* will fall from the eyes of the Jews as it was with Saul of Tarsis and in the second coming, Christ will reveal himself to his people as Joseph revealed himself to his family. I've heard it explained that the story of Joseph is a beautiful parable to the life of the Messiah. From the jealousy of his brothers and selling him for 30 pieces of silver into bondage, to his rise to second only to Pharaoh and administering the government. And just as Joseph revealed his circumcision to his brothers to prove who he was, Christ will reveal to the Jews the scars in his hands, feet and side to prove who he was when he returns. Interestingly just as Joseph had his gentile servants leave the room when he revealed who he was to his brothers, the gentiles in Christ are supposed to be removed from earth before he reveals himself to his people. I heard John Hagee teach this and the detailed parallels were absolutely amazing.

**************************************
Check out free AOL at http://free.aol.com/thenewaol/index.adp.
