There's no mention of "Vedanta" in the Bhagavad Gita. The Gita was composed long before any of the Upanishads were created. The Bhagavad Gita has to do with Yoga and the Sankhya - that's why the Gita discusses the three constituents, the gunas, born of nature, and doesn't discuss Maya, a notion which came much later. You've just compared apples with oranges.
