Just to provide a comparison, in France I pay 235
Euros for my health insurance, which provides far
better coverage than what I had back in the US, for
prices comparable to what Jim is talking about above.

235 Euros per YEAR.

I am not an employee, so the company I work for 
contributes nothing towards my health care. The 
policy is provided by a company that expects to
*make money* by offering health care coverage for
235 Euros per year, and does.

I would be willing to bet that MDixon pays more
per month for his non-Socialist health insurance
than I pay per year. And that he believes that's 
a Good Thing.
