As I recall there was a post 6 -12 months ago. Maybe it was the one Rick mentioned he reposted, or maybe it was a different one. But there was dirt. Yes, there was dirt. Mostly about money, but other stuff as well. Things have happened around Amma that no organization would want to publicize. People have committed suicide in her ashram. People working in her organization have proven untrustworthy with money (India business ethics), swamis and close personal attendants have left her organization. Human beings are human beings. But as far as I can tell, she sets a good example and that example trickles down through her organization. People are generally kind, humble, hard-working, and genuinely caring for others. Amma takes great pains to make sure her organizations finances and other practices are beyond reproach. And it shows. There's a good feeling around the whole thing, and much is accomplished. The syndrome of making big promises and plans and collecting a lot of money to fund them and then having nothing to show for it is nowhere in evidence.
