Could be, so lets look at his own words:
On the nature of the accusation itself, Leadbeater wrote to Annie
Besant in the following words:
* "...So when boys came under my care, I mentioned this matter to
them [masturbation], among other things, always trying to avoid all
sorts of false shame, and to make the whole appear as natural and
simple as possible...." - Letter from C W Leadbeater to Annie Besant.[14]
This is an acceptable discussion between a non parent and a kid? I
think we are going to have to disagree on this one. He resigned from
the Theosophical Society in disgrace and it wasn't because someone had
thrown out a few rumors, it was because of the evidence they had on is
inappropriate correspondence with kids. I consider defending him right
up there with defending Michael Jackson.
