The Pete Tong show on Radio 1 (UK) had a 'world exclusive' play tonight
of the "new Faithless single", called (I think) "We Come One". It was
unmistakably Faithless, but I'm not sur I've got the title right.
First impressions are that it's pretty damn good. It's in the upbeat
club anthem style, closest comparison possibly "Insomnia", and with some
typical Faithless touches. However, the 'anthem' bit of the track is
more complex and frankly bizarre than 'usual', and Maxi Jazz's rap is a
bit 'looser' (ie. it rhymes a bit less, and is a bit less rhythmical,
than on "Insomnia".) I don't think it'll end up being my favourite
Faithless track ever, but pretty damn good, frankly.
Anyone have any idea how long we might be waiting before we can buy this
thing?
