I'm sorry and not to start a fight here but this has to be one of the most ridiculous
things I've ever seen on this list. The following line: "Is it fair that they
become millionaires all because they can make some music.". Uh, to answer your
question in one word YES! It's what they do for a living, they do it damn well,
and they deserve whatever riches come their way for their talent. "All because
they can make some music" like there's nothing to it, it's just a toss off.
I respect the talent of Rollo, Sister Bliss, Maxi and the whole Cheeky gang
and feel they've worked hard to accomplish what they have.
"Feel free to rip them off", sorry that mentality makes me sick in my stomach.
Freedom of information on the Internet is being used to cover way too much these
days. I don't think freedom of information on the Net was intended to mean you
can get any music you want without paying a cent for it. I understand a true
fan and collector will buy the releases when they come out. Of course. But it's
this Napster attitude of so many people that's really starting to aggravate
me. "I can't afford it so I should be able to get it for free on the Internet".
Not saying that's the attitude of anyone here on this list but I CERTAINLY see
that attitude all over the place these days.
Sincerely,
MikeA
