I know its been out for a while now but finally managed to get some time to
write some ramblings on faithless :)
In respect to Outrospecive what dissapointed me at the start was that silly
horn sound, im sure they could have started the album with something better
:) and then at the end of the track where lyrics from the Reverance album at
first i was cool good stuff then a second later i was like why are they just
rehashing old stuff.
Not Enuff Love had me thinking good again a different track from all their
others and nice.
We Come 1 i already had the single of and that too i didnt like at first but
it quickly grew on me (though its still nowhere near as good as god is a dj,
take the long way home etc...).
However now that ive listend to the album for a couple of weeks it has
really grown on me and i agree it is up there with the other two. However in
terms of an album as a whole i still prefer Sunday 8PM (for the flow and
coherence etc.. basically sounds better when heard as a whole album than the
other two). Reverence to me seems more like a collection of grreat singles
rather than a complete journey/album...blah im waffling but you get the idea
i think sunday 8pm flowed a lot better as an album.
Regarding a couple of posts early on Hour Of Need i dont understand why so
many people dont like the track...i love it! Must be my like of
tacky/sentimentaly tracks like that and Dont leave and why go...i was kind
of disapointed that the only similar track to them on this album (Not Enuff
Love) was too political/morally...though thats not such a bad thing i just
hate feeling guilty after listening to it *weep*
Cheers,
DJ Yobbo/Deep
