If you're on a Mac, there's a free program called PhotoPage: http://waves.apple.com/people/jav/PhotoPage.html It allows you to enter descriptions for each picture, and it creates the HTML file for you. It also creates thumbnails and all the necessary links. You can use PhotoPage to make online photo albums or galleries. You tell it how many rows/columns, and it writes the HTML and makes the thumbnails for you. I've used it a couple of times: http://www.e-fic.com/cal/arlington/index.html http://www.e-fic.com/cal/pics/index.html http://www.e-fic.com/baby/ ON the Windows side, I've only had occassion to do this kind of thing once, but a program called Express Thumbnail Creator http://www.express-soft.com/ was easy to use and did the job.
