Yes.  It'll be a little more complicated as you'll still have to
upload the files themselves by FTP, but the database will link to
anything, as long as you tell it the filename and location.  It's very
similar to what I had to do to get it to work with thumbnail images.

Depends on how much time it takes to keep up the main pages.  If it's
anything like a regular fic archive, a big time yes IMHO.

You should be able to get it close.  Maybe not *exactly* the same, but
you can do some very impressive customization, as long as you know
HTML hardcode reasonably well.

If you'd like to try, I'll grandly help you set up, as I've done a
couple sites with similar (and unusual) requirements.
