None, really. I don't know Perl (which is what the scripts are written in), there's a settings file that you change to customize it for your archive. Unless you want to customize the html look of the upload and search pages, you don't have to touch anything else. If you do want to customize those pages, even that's pretty simple, it's all in one other file (formLib.pl). Probably the trickiest thing is the chmod settings, the directions in the readme file with the scripts isn't real clear (imho). If you decide to install the scripts, I can give you a quick simple list of the files and folders and what they should be set at. And Rauhnee and I are here to help if you get any problems, we've both set up a bunch of automated archives this year. alice ttlg http://idiotbox.populli.net/ ~ * ~ * ~ ~ * ~ * ~ ~ * ~ * ~ ~ * ~ * ~ ~ * ~ * ~ "Don't let the bastards grind you down." -- Joseph Stilwell, translation of "Illegitimati non carborundum" _______________________________________________ Fanficwebdesign mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://populli.net/mailman/listinfo/fanficwebdesign_populli.net
