The thing is that I'm my own webhost, an old PC of mine is acting webserver in my closet <g>. I installed Perl on the server and set it up to interact with the webserver according to the instructions in the ActivePerl userguide. It was when I looked into the archiveconfig thing after I got the error message that I noticed Unix paths and stuff. I'm gonna have to check more closely if I can translate a unix path into a windows path. I've seen some other fun perl cgi stuff I'd like to try too if I can get it to work. :o) Maria _______________________________________________ Fanficwebdesign mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://populli.net/mailman/listinfo/fanficwebdesign_populli.net
