For the benefit of anyone else who may've encountered this and
stumbles upon us by googling...

take a look at packages/types/_dmImage/edit.cfm - you should be able
to tweak it to behave however you want

i think the proper way to do it is to copy the dmImage.cfc and /
_dmImage directory from the types dir to [yourapplication]/packages/
system/ before making modifications to core code - maybe someone a bit
more familiar can shed some light there.
