I have posted to the boards lately about how to hide things from unregistered users and got several replies which although helpful were off the point a bit. I don't want non logged-in public users to even see some nav nodes at all. Not just see them and be denied access (which is very negative).
I was told that the performance hit if getting permissions on the nav nodes for menus might be high. This is a risk I am prepared to take..but how. The other method might be to have two or more main nav trees under the root. Can I do this, if so how? On a simpler note us there a generic login component that will simply return users to the site, not the admin. if there is then its not obvious - or is it simply in the permissions? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
