Any navigation branches outside the home node (e.g. under root or utilities)
isn't included in the menu structure. It would be a simple matter to add an
entire website outside the public "home" node and just give permssions (and
links) to specific people.

Note that you would probably have to change some of the parameters of the
genericNav call to make sure the menus for the separate tree are generated
correctly.
