This looks like a very impressive list of items.

The things that really stand out for me are the bringing of all
maintenance into content types, the refactoring of the security model
and the enhancements to the plugins.

But the one that really caught my eye is "ability to use formtools
without content type machinery" I was just looking for this feature or
how to get it to work a couple of days ago. This will be a very big
useful upgrade to the Farcry framework and can see this making the
development of application workflow possible using formtools.

p.s. any developments on the XStandard plug in - have not seen
anything in SVN
