i use bugzilla and find it invaluable. http://www.bugzilla.org/

But I saw this in action last week, and it rocks: http://www.atlassian.com/

Bugzilla is free, of course. But the other one is a few grand... not
all that much tho.

There was a thread over on CFAUSSIE recently called "control of
versions" that mentioned a lot of bug trackers....
