If that was an official statement, I think iCommons exceeded its
powers and (AIUI) that puts its charitable status at risk.

The impression I got from cabell (who seems to be a cc counsel
http://www.creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/5421 ) was that the
Objects are non-negotiable, but I'll be happy if it's not so.
