Hi guys, I got 50 in this last October and relied almost totally on the Nutshells - there was a new one published last Summer and I found it invaluable. I used the Griffith manual for a few topics, but to be honest, I found it fairly unhelpful compared to the manuals for the other subjects - there's just too much in it! I went in to the exam with quite a basic knowledge of all the topics and some extra material for the "regular" questions - freedom of expression, locus standi, fair procedure etc.
I wouldn't recommend cutting things down quite as much as I did - I was under serious pressure timewise so wasn't left with much choice and it's definitely not good for your nerves going into an exam with so little prepared! But I did find that the most important thing is to have a good outline on topics, especially the "rights" and not worry too much about having loads of academic commentary and discussion. Just being able to identify topics gets you a long way in this exam! This is just my experience and Im sure other people will have different opinions, so feel free to disagree with me! But as a guideline for Bee and Notorious, hopefully this will help.
