I think James meant that Clive had no consideration which he didn't. I said
that it was the airlines prerogative whether who they chose to contract
with.

In relation to SDB, the issue of illegality and whether it causes the whole
contract to be unenforceable. I said that the courts would look at SDB's
innocence eg. Hughes v Victorian Friendly Society, Euro diam v bathurst etc.
