Without intending to speak to the actual issue at stake in FCREPO-951, I do want to clear up a bit of miscommunication:
The 3.5 release will _not_ be including CXF-supported services (themselves the product of Jiri Kremser's good work as our Google Summer of Code student). When that CXF-supported code is released, it will be providing SOAP service, _not_ REST. While it's not impossible to imagine CXF supporting all of the Web services, there are no current plans to pursue that design. --- A.
