Hola guys! the eSciDoc guys raised a good point about adding the method to the listDatastreams is braeking RESTfulness, since two different resources would be referenced by the same URI.
"An important concept in REST is the existence of resources (sources of specific information), each of which is referenced with a global identifier (e.g., a URI in HTTP)." --from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Representational_State_Transfer#Central_principle since the two XML files (the datastreamlist and the datastreamprofiles) are different resources, they should have they're own respective URIs.
