Hi Thomas,
The "bad version number" error results from trying to run a class file with
a Java SDK version that is less than the version with which it was compiled.
It's likely that you could track down the jar where this error occurs, but
since you're in a hurry, you might want to just try swapping over to a Java
6 SDK.
