I tend to send people here, which sends them to the Fedora Join channels. More often than not, folks that come in get a Welcome to Fedora ticket opened for them, and then there's quite a bit of info there for them to go on: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/join/ > And, leading question: should we have a user-focused "Join Fedora" docs > section on docs.fedoraproject.org that is separate from the Join SIG docs? We could, but I fear it'll end up outdated like the wiki page or another docs page. I don't know if we have the resources to keep another set of docs up to date. (The page linked above probably needs to be updated to put in links to chat.fp.o for example.) That's sort of why I tend to nudge people to chat to folks on the channels---we may not have time to update all the docs with each change in the community, but we tend to know what's up collectively and can pass on the info when we speak to newcomers. -- Thanks, Regards, Ankur Sinha "FranciscoD" (He / Him / His) | https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Ankursinha Time zone: Europe/London
