https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=489686 --- Comment #65 from Denis Arnaud <[email protected]> 2009-06-15 15:50:44 EDT --- The following shows that both lapack-devel and blas-devel contain only symbolic links on libraries and static libraries, but no header files: ---------------------------------------- $ rpm -ql lapack-devel /usr/lib64/liblapack.a /usr/lib64/liblapack.so /usr/lib64/liblapack_pic.a $ rpm -ql blas-devel /usr/lib64/libblas.a /usr/lib64/libblas.so ---------------------------------------- So, if I am not mistaken, armadillo-devel does not need to list those development packages in the 'Requires:' statement.
