Boudewijn, i'm not suprised you know those words, since Afrikaans is a
combination of Dutch, German, French and English, all mashed in to one
language by the "Voortrekkers" the first white settlers to move inland
from the european colonized coast of Southern Africa. I've got German
and Dutch heritage, Buitendag goes back to Germany, and one of my
great grandmothers was Dutch. And my mother's side is Irish, nice
combination hey, and people stil wonder where i get my stubborn nature
from, go figure! I'm a whiskey drinking, beer lover of a tradesman.
