My name is Lance Buitendag, I'm a 28yr old South African, i'm employed
as a Site Agent for a civil construction firm, living with my soon to
be fiance(when i'm not working away from home, so it's basically just
weekends), i have 2 kids, 9yr and 2yr old boys both living with their
mothers. I know it sounds bad, but i loved both of their mothers
dearly until unspeakable events shattered my world. twice! It comes
with having to work away 90% of the time. "you're away to often" they
say, or "where were you when i needed a bit attention?" or " 'HE' was
there for me when you weren't" as well as "You're never around to help
with chores" (why i'd have to do chores if i employ a maid 3 times a
week, even while she is at home all day is beyond me) all the while
working my ass off to keep them in a style of living that was more
than comfortable. But ya, sometimes love just ain't enough... They say
there are 2 kinds of women in the world, a Contractors wife, and not a
contractors wife... But i have finally found some one who is willing
to put up with my kak, and she seems to be a keeper, never been
happier in my life, i have to say that one of the best feelings in the
world is the feeling that you are appreciated and that some one has
your best interests at heart and goes out of their way to make you
feel comfortable and at peace. And even better, is the feeling of
total bliss and willingness to make an effort so the other person
feels the same.

My 2 boys are my salvation, i see them as often as i can and make sure
they have what they need and that know who their father is and don't
get a chance to forget me. My oldest is hyper active (ADHD just like
his dad) way to clever for his own boots, but a sporty little bugger,
loves rugby and cricket (my influence i'm afraid, wish he'd play golf
or tennis) clever at school, but only when the teachers manage to
control him. The youngest? Well, he's the splitting image of his dad
and just as naughty to boot... (i'm seriously worried about that)

My hobbies include alot of time in the bush, either camping out under
the stars or long treks through the veld learning about the various
ecosystems that inhabit my beautiful country (it helps that i work in
the rural areas alot and mostly far from big cities) i'm a sports
freak, I play cricket, rugby, squash and i'm really good at playing
the fool. I watch any sport there is, i am totally captivated by
anything that requires one person, or many, striving to overcome and
better an opponent.
