What did you expect from a Feistfans list?

Not necessarily. Ray has been writing for 20+ years. We enjoy his
work. So yes, when someone comes along who has not even finished
Magician and starts criticising and making assumptions about the fate
of one character which are completely wrong because they haven't read
the whole book, then yes, we will point this out to them.

Also, advertising your own work in the same e-mail where you attack
the author and his work, well, that takes some Chutzpah laddie.

I provided rational points. Nice of you to ignore them.

I did address them sensibly.

Well, Ray is on this list. Whether he chooses to answer you or not
that's his choice.

But you have to realise, what kind of reception did you expect to get
on a Feistfans list. Seriously. Are you that naive?

See my comments.

I'm not closed minded. Do the spelling mistakes and typos annoy me?
Yes? What can we do about them? Alert Ray to them when the book is
first published and hope thay are fixed in subsequent publishing.
Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't.

Plenty of people on the list have criticised your work. You haven't
answered their criticism. how do you expect Ray to answer yours?

Oh we see the flaws, but we are also intelligent enough to see past
them. BTW, did you also know Ray suffers from dyslexia? Maybe
taking that into accoutn might affect your views a little. But, of
course, if you'd done a little research you would know that.

It's the way you went about it, not just here, but all over the internet.

This is a mailing list, not a forum. Google is your friend if you
want to know the difference.

See my comments.
