I feel bad to point out issues in the work since the books are fantastic but...
At the end of 'a kingdom besieged' Child asks Belog for an orange, he
reaches at his ever present bag and it wasn't there.
When Amirantha is trying to banish Child and Belog, Belog throws an orange
out of his bag, and later talks about the rift in the bottom. but, he didn't
have one.
