I have said more than once on this list and it was mentioned in the series,
the identity of his parents (specific to the reader) are unknown.
Obviously, Macros knew who they were as >he was keeping an eye on Pug since
he was born. A kitchen girl and a soldier were his parents.
I must have forgotten if it was explained, but why exactly was he watching
Pug from such an early age? Was he born with enough magical potential to
show up his "radar"?
