You have probably never bought a UK first edition of Magician then :)

Also remember up until recently the UK editions from around 1999 on were 
the true firsts,, though of late it has been the Oz editions.

You will see the books at good prices on ebay , but remember you are not 
often buying from professional book a dealer, so you have no idea what 
you might get. And remember even if you do find that super condition 
special book at a bargain price you were looking for, the dumb ass 
selling it could put it in an envelope and post it, no padding , no 
protection. You get a bumped and bent book, worth  £0
