Is there something we can do (i.e. contact a particular store in Boston,
Philly,
New York, or DC)?

You can always talk to your local seller. But at this point it's far too late
for the coming tour.

Touring in the US isn't what it used to be. I have no specific idea why.
Maybe
it's the aging of the readership in general and specifically to SF/F. If I
want
to see young fans I go to ComiCon or WondCon or one of the other media based
conventions, because they're not coming to traditional cons or book signings.

Anyway, over the last 30 years I've done many appearances in the East: Boston,
New York, Philly, D.C., Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Chapel Hill, Orlando, etc. If
there was demand they'd send me.

Best, R.E.F.
