First two Pratchetts were brilliant, after that I thought they became
repetitive.  Tad Williams' Dragon Bone Chair et al are good but not keen on
his other works.

There are now some Zelazny compilations so you can get all the amber books
in one go without trying to hunt down individual titles. Clever.

Orson Scott Cards earlier stuff was good but not read any later books.
