Love it that you are back John.

The firsts are always the hardest (first day /week/ month, Birthday etc).
Remember that as long as he is in your heart he is still with you. I lost my
Dad not long after we had become reacquainted after a long and painful
estrangement. At first I mourned for the time I had lost, but then realised
I needed to concentrate on the short time we had spent together as friends.

Clearing out a loved one's possessions gives you an insight into their
lives, don't you think? I discovered my Dad was addicted to those home
delivery kitchen gadget catalogues! I found at least 6 of every daft gadget
known to mankind. Plastic lettuce knives, doovers to hold onions while you
cut them and god knows how many jar opener doohickies.

Be happy

Elizabeth

Hi John,
Great to hear your back. Sending you best wishes.
I loved sorting through my dads stuff when he passed, made me smile the
little memory treasures amongst it all.
I still makes me smile as i kept just a couple of keepsakes :).
Be well,
Lani
