The only reason Legacy got placed where it is, was because the US didn't have it at the time the reading order was created.

I still maintain the best order to read them is the order they are published, and if a book is earlier in the timeline, treat it as a history book, with a different point of view.

I find publication order to be best also since often authors (including Ray) make little references to things in books that have already been published but are set in the future. It's more appreciable if you've read those future books already.

Jimmy and the Crawler had this in a few places I noticed.
