Briana Longbow was not a major character but she still kicked butt. One of
he things I loved about Mr. REF's books is that female characters were
strong. It kept with the times of old England but buffered up the women.
Not all men were strong and not all women were weak. This is why both my
husband and I were able to enjoy them and discuss them later.

Critics will criticize and as my mother always said, "Opinions ar like
A-holes. Everybody has one and theirs don't stink."

I've read a couple of them for nostalgia reasons, but hey -- some of these
are only suitable for lit-crit courses in university.
