Originally I was only a hardcopy reader. However I now use my kindle app to purchase the books for portability, as travelling means I always have my phone and very little space for books in luggage. I have implemented the policy that once I have purchased and read the book, I then track down the hardcopy to put on my bookshelf at home. This ensures that one day my kids will be able to be introduced to the magical world of books, with actual copies and not just on an easily distracted device.

I have the kindle app on my phone and tablet, but always have a paper book on the go too. I buy both versions just as freely, though I tend to get paper books secondhand. I love the versatility of the kindle, got my mum a kindle and we can all share the books using my account. -------- Original message -------- From: Allan Mills <[email protected]> Date: 28/10/2015 02:05 (GMT+00:00) To: feistfans-l <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Kindle When I was on vacation some years ago I had been using a kindle to read book but I accidently dropped it and busted the screen. Then I found my Smartphone had a Kindle App I could download so I could keep reading. It was a bit faulty though as for some reason it sometimes skipped a line or two when I switched to the next page. At the moment I mainly use my Kindle for reading when on vacation (to save on lugging books around) but use it for audiobooks when travelling over a distance. Otherwise I just read actual paper books.
