Yep, if you want to add a 'stable' tag, and move it, feel free..
don't forget to somehow 'document' it exists, and of course
update it regularly .. because I can't easily fix bugs that aren't
in the head.

I prefer KISS:

(a) binary package (Debian) -- if broken then:
(b) tarball -- if broken then:
(c) SVN head

but I'd actually prefer:

* SVN head

because I cannot support anything else, I don't have
enough neurons :)

The Debian package and tarball are just teasers.
