Oh, Jamie, I'm so sorry to hear about Andy. It is so hard to
lose them, especially when they have to go through such harsh
endings. (I can't imagine I could ever survive seeing one of my cats do a
poop of blood, I'd have a heart attack and die on the spot) I do think that
in some way, his troubles did lead you to a vet you can trust now though. Maybe
that was Andy's way of making sure your next kitty gets a really great vet! That
vet sounds like a keeper. R.I.P. Andy!
