Also try the liver shake, posted recently. Cirpiheptidine, also called something else I can not remember, is an appetite stimulant that works very well with some cats.  And if he really is not eating, I would syringe feed him some to get food into him. It often jump starts their appetite too, especially if you syringe them something very palatable. I would definitely put him back on the pred, no question. I assume that you also know about prednisolone eye drops, which are basically topical pred for the eyes.   Michelle
