keep putting it on your finger or syringing it, he may get his desire to eat back once he gets some food into him and starts feeling better. you are right overweight kitties are more suseptable to getting HL and a lot faster than a normal weight cat might. Getting food into him right away is a priority. If you have to syringe feed. give small amounts in the side of the mouth, give him a minute to swallow then give more. You can try offereing food after he has had a bit, it may kick start his desire to eat.
