Hideyo,
The suggestions given sound good, being prepared with pictures of your habitat, receipts for medical and housing costs etc.  Could you write up some sort of acknowledgment of your general good deeds in caring for the cats?  Get as many signatures on it as possible, vets, neighbors, etc.  How much time do you have before the hearing?  I know the folks on this list would be willing to sign too, if we can figure out how to do that logistically.  I know from stories you've posted on the list that you've run across some influential people while doing rescue work, government officials, media people, get their signatures and short statements about who you are and what you do too.  Some sound legal advice is in order as well, here's the link to ALDF, (Animal Legal Defense Fund).  Write or call them and tell them what's going on and ask how they can help.  They have attorneys that do pro bono work for good folks like you.

Blessings and prayers for you, your situation and for sweet little Ginger.  She's been refusing to eat for what seems like a long time now, maybe you had better get her into the vet, just in case they can figure out why.

Hi, everyone – I am in a situations where I need all your prayers!

I mentioned to you a couple of weeks ago, where the animal control came over regarding having the multiple cats at my house.  Well, based on the current ordinance, I could only have 5 animals even with a permit (they have a very stupid way to calculate it) – so, now I have to go to a hearing.  According to the city attorney, unless my neighbors has any objections (which no one does), they usually allow you to have up to 15 animals ---- I have to now go to a hearing and present my case – everyone, please pray that everything will go well and they won’t take my babies away from me!  I don’t know what I would do without them!

Also, Ginger is still not eating like she is supposed to – she sipped on Liver shake a bit, but not much, so I am still force feeding… she does not act like she is sick at all, which is blessing – I might have to take her for a blood work if she does not get her appetite back to see if anything is going on inside of her.. please pray that she will gain her appetite back very very soon!

Again, thank you for all your support!
