Karolyn, I think you are a smart cat mom! I have read and heard that cats love it when people think vertically. It makes me smile to remember when my big shy male tuxedo cat Myca was a kitten, and he first encountered a houseguest whom we had invited to stay for a week. It was quite unnerving for him! For almost the entire week, he slept in the top of my closet! I think he felt the safest there. Sandy
