My female cats used to fight over who would sleep on our bed, and I would end up locking one of them out of the bedroom to prevent the middle-of-the-night fights. But after things came to a head, they seem to have come to a truce. Cricket sleeps near me all night as if she is*guarding* me, and doesn't let my other female cat Miss near. If she does come around, there's lots of hissing, and Miss can get under my bed, but not on it. But when it's morning, it's like they change shifts. Cricket goes to another room, and Miss is allowed on the bed with me, should I still be there. It's as if they have an agreement.
