my comment about there always being enough persians came from this reality--i, too, cannot sanction breeding, yet love the specific characteristics of persians.... so i feel sort of guilty that i can have the best of both worlds.... yet, if people were to stop taking in rescued persians, would that really stop the people who keep breeding them? if it truly would, i guess i'd get along fine without them.....
