Hey Nina,

Isn't Southern California by the ocean?  Do you guys
have humidity there?  To me, Dallas isn't humid at
all, especially compared to Houston and Florida.  Now
there's some humidity!!!  When I first moved to
Houston, it took me awhile to get used to sweating the
instant I walked outside out of the A/C.  haha.  You
are right though; it definitely doesn't cool off at
night here in the summer.  You can expect 90+ weather
all throughout July and August, night and day here. 
It's a bit cooler south of here, because it's closer
to the ocean.  I stayed in Venice Beach for a few
weeks one summer and I was surprised at how cool it
got at night.  You guys don't have air conditioners
down there, do you?  What about heaters?  What about
you guys up north?  Do you use air conditioners in
your homes?
