My friend just got the news that her dear companion has renal
failure. I believe he is FeVL+ but he has managed to live with it
for quite some time and if I am not mistaken, he is more than 10 years
old. She took Morris to the vet this morning. They should
have blood test results first thing in the morning and begin a course
of treatment. She will manage the treatments at home.
I'm writing you guys in the event that some of you have experience with this. What recommendations could I pass along to her? Can this disease be managed over time? I know a lot may depend on how much damage there is. He also has infection. I know my friend would appreicate any advice or information you could pass along.
